Setting fitness goals is a breeze.
At the start of a new workout plan, you’re filled with motivation and daydreaming about how your body is going to look.
But as time goes by, and results aren’t happening as fast as you’d hoped, motivation dries up.
We've all been there.
First, let me tell you that you’re amazing for taking care of your health and body.
Second, let me help you get motivated and excited to start seeing better results in the mirror.
When you first step into the gym or start following fitness influencers, you may feel discouraged. They seem to be doing everything right, and they look great!
So remind yourself: Every single trainer, influencer, athlete, or fit and healthy person started in the exact same place as you.
In all likelihood, they’ve simply been working towards their goals for longer.
Wanting to see fast results is easy. But remembering that progress takes time is important.
By setting realistic goals, you'll set yourself up for success and be more likely to stick to your plan.
Remember, we’re seeking progress, not perfection.
So, let's set those realistic expectations and crush them together!
With that in mind, here's my second tip...
Repeat after me:
The only person you should be comparing yourself to (in fitness and in life) is the “you” from yesterday.
I've seen countless women dive into a new diet or workout plan with everything they got, comparing their bodies to 20-years-younger fitness models...
And then giving up when they couldn't get the results they see fitness gurus getting (who exercise for hours each day).
So don’t compare your results from exercise with other people. As long as you're staying active and consistent, you're winning.
S.M.A.R.T. = Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound.
By making sure your goals fit this criteria, you'll set yourself up for success.
S.M.A.R.T. goals allow you to gain clarity on what you want to achieve, how you’ll measure your progress, and provides you a timeline to work within.
What I’ve found is that by setting S.M.A.R.T. goals, sticking to your goals becomes much easier—because you have a well-defined vision!
Here are a few examples of healthy S.M.A.R.T. goals:
Drink 2 cups of water before breakfast.
Work out for 30 minutes before dinner, 3 times a week.
Do 20 pushups every day after lunch.
I know, I know…
You’re doing this fitness thing to tone up or lose weight, and you may not feel excited about taking photos of a body you’re unhappy with.
But taking photos throughout your journey can foster motivation.
Oftentimes, seeing visible changes in the mirror is difficult, and the scale might not move much—but photos can tell another story.
When you take photos every two weeks, you can literally see your progress, which will help remind yourself of why you started, and give you something to celebrate on a consistent basis.
There's a lot of information and MISinformation floating around the internet—especially to do with health, fitness, and getting into shape.
Which is why you need to be careful of the advice you follow.
One of the first things to look for is whether or not the fitness program or advice is research backed (for example: Marina's Body Sculpting Series is built upon numerous supporting studies and research).
Next, you want to look at whether women like yourself got transformational results from the program—so check for reviews!
Finally, can you fit the program into your life on a daily basis? Meaning:
How long are the workouts, and how strenuous?
Will you be asked to starve and/or deprive yourself?
Will you need to cook elaborate, expensive meals?
Or are you going to eat the foods you’re used to?
Most women abandon their fitness goals because the exercise and nutrition plans are unrealistic, unsustainable, and unenjoyable.
So making sure the plan you choose fits with your life is key!
Knowing this, Marina created The Body Sculpting Series for women like you, providing the perfect plan for crushing your fitness goals!
If you follow The Body Sculpting Series, you'll eat the foods you're used to…
While burning 60-75% MORE of your daily calories thanks to quick 30-minute workouts…
Which means you lose weight and tone up without the struggle of unpleasant, unsustainable plans.
